Sorry about the confusion! I'll have news and sorts about practicum on this page as well as on the portal. I suggest you bookmark this site on your Web browsers. It's hard for me to e-mail all sections of practicum, especially since the mass e-mail goes to Dr. Trice's students (and I don't have control over that).
First and foremost, you'll need to create your own blog on blogger. Go to http://www.blogger.com and follow the "sign up" directions. After that, you can "follow" me if you want, but PLEASE comment on this post with your blog address. And include your name, please. I can't decipher your names sometimes from your e-mail addresses or a cryptic blog address.
Again, you need to submit a blog entry of your practicum hours as you accrue them. You'll need to do them in a timely fashion. In other words, if you work September 6 for 5 hours, I don't want to see you blogging about these hours on September 19. I would suggest you keep a weekly log and submit your weekly hours every Wednesday. Therefore, if you work for the sports show on September 1, you'd blog about what you did, who you worked with, and how much time you spent there ON or BEFORE September 9.
If you sign up to attend a shoot or other production, we're relying on you being there. If you aren't there, you will lose class participation points.
